Delete your Nidox account

You can request deletion of your Nidox account and its associated personal data through either route below. This page is available without signing in or installing Nidox.

In the app or web app

Open Nidox → Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm your identity again if requested, then confirm deletion. You can also open the web app settings and sign in with the same Apple or Google identity.

Without access to the app

Email a deletion request to contact@nidox.app.

State that you want your Nidox account and associated personal data deleted. Include the email address or Apple relay address used for Nidox, if known. If it is unavailable, describe the sign-in method so we can arrange secure ownership verification. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents or login tokens in the initial request. Sending an email requests deletion; we verify ownership before acting and respond within the applicable legal timeframe.

What is deleted and what can remain

• Your authentication account, private AI threads, device registrations and family memberships are removed.
• If no other signed-in person remains in a family, its shared content and stored files are deleted too.
• If others continue using the family, shared calendars, lists and other family content remain available to them; your login and membership are removed. Ask us if a specific piece of remaining personal information should also be reviewed for deletion.
• Active location sharing is stopped as part of deletion. Expired routes are subject to the scheduled cleanup described in Privacy.
• Copies made by other people, device caches, backups until retention expires, and records legally required for billing or proportionate fraud/security prevention may remain separately. They are not kept to reactivate a deleted account.

Cancel your subscription separately in Apple or Google Play subscription settings. Account deletion alone does not stop store billing. An Android store subscription is available only once that checkout has been activated.
